2025 Season League Ages
NOL and Little League offer an opportunity for children of all levels of ability and experience to participate and have success playing baseball and softball. It is NOL’s goal to have every child play in a division that is suitable for his/her level of play.
For the 2025 season, Little League Age Determinations are based on the following:
Baseball - Little League Age is based on the Players age as of 8/31/2025 (Little League Age Determination)
Ages 4-7 Tee Ball
-Player needs to be 4 years old by 1/1 of each year, this helps our coaches maintain the child’s attention span.
-New for the Fall 2025 season, two (2) sub-divisions within the Tee Ball division, Beginner & Intermediate. - The Beginner division is for first time players or players ages 4-5, all players bat in each half inning and all players hit off the tee until the ball is batted.
- The Intermediate division is for returning players or players ages 5-7; will feature 3 outs or 5 runs to end each half inning, and 2 coach pitches and then 2 balls off the tee. The intent of this division is to better prepare players for Pitching Machine
-Players League Age 6 can try out for Pitching Machine.
-There are no Player Evaluations for Tee Ball
Ages 6-8 Pitching Machine
Ages 8-10 Minors
Ages 10-12 Majors
Players registered to participate in Pitching Machine, Minors and Majors MUST attend ONE of the the Player Evaluation Sessions. For these divisions, a draft is held after the Evaluations to determine Team Selections. There are no Player Evaluations for Tee Ball.
